Seems Serpent is going to release a monster truck.

Cool...

I doubt it's going to happen, but I'm really hoping that the MT class starts gaining popularity again. I know they handle like a gimpy water buffalo, but racing the MT class was super fun!

Heck, I like having one just for the bashing fun aspect!

This is gonna be awesome if it happens. A high end MT , can't wait to see what serpent has in the works.

Picture?

They have been saying this for a while now I first heard about at the Nierenberg show way back at the beginning of the year. It's still only a prototype as far as I know with the bulk of it being taken from there truggy platform . To be honest I totally forgot all about it until now perhaps it's now passed the prototype stage but seems odd it dosen't show any images yet if it is

Here is a pic that the MRT Shop in Germany is carrying, yet I do not think its correct as this is the same as was shown in Nuernberg in 2014.

I don't see anything wrong with taking essentially a truggy and slapping on big wheels/tires and beefier body/bumpers/cage. It's awesome!

As cheap as 6s 1/8 electronics can be had these days it makes the decision about what truck to go with the hard part...I'd toss this http://www.ebay.com/itm/Arrma-BLX185...cAAOSwA3dYFCda in it since I'd be broke after buying the roller from Serpent lol :)

Hard for me to imagine RC "monster truck" racing at the pro level - since truggy is pretty much that...except for the soild axle MT crowd that runs sanctioned events worldwide but that is a whole nother ballgame.

Seems like serpent dont know how to put the correct wheel direction thread on their trucks....

Sent a message to Serpent on Facebook asking about the MT RTR and they said that they were going to release it in October.

I emailed them yesterday directly about this. I'll see what they say.

I say it’s MT season with all these new comers joining and I admit if this truck is priced within the 3xle price of $6-700 I will get one.
