So with the new onslaught of race car based bodies for USGT, does that mean the McAllister Daytona bodies are legal again? Just seems odd that they got banned, but now that the competition has caught up with these new bodies - who’s profiles are damn near identical - are allowed.
Just curious.

Good luck claiming IP on the term abbreviation of RC. It's like trying to trade mark someone surname. It can not be litigated against. Trust me from personal experience, I was sent a cease and desist letter by a guy with the same name as mine. My layer just laughed.😉

The Venom was designed to be a street car, with horn and turn signals, not a purpose built race car like the DP cars the McCallister bodies are copied from.
My guess is that more people complained about those bodies in GT than there were that wanted it....and that's likely why it was removed from the list.....just my opinion.

ha ha...the Rteck looks good on the track, and the Venom adds to the class...I personally rather see a mix of bodies than just 1 body used.... this past Sunday, we had the Ford GT, Chevy Z28, the R-tek, the Pzero, Vette C7, and the Zr1... it looked good

I think the T-Tek will be perfect for asphalt.....
the frontend of the Venom look very close to R-Tek
