The older white six spokes were actually 3 grams lighter each, interestingly enough the new white wheels are the same exact weight as the black ones now so maybe that's the thinking behind it.

Didn't think of it that way. But they let you run light weight drive train parts and low friction belts so as long as you make weight I don't think they care. I will weight the two wheels when I have time though

Does anyone still run the Protoform Corvette C7.R bodies anymore? Are they worth anything at all, or are they obsolete since the Ford GT came out? I have two that I've won from raffles and are brand new in the package. I didn't know if I would be able to sell them for anything on here.

I run them! Been running the C7 body, just painted up a ZR1 body, been happy with them. You can see my ZR1 that I posted here in this thread. Most of the guys at my track run the Exotek body, couple of guys tried the Ford GT 190, but went back to the exotek shell. I'm gonna' stay with the C7 shells.

I'm still stuck on the caddy but I'm planning to buy a C7R this weekend to try out. I would be the only person running it as the field at my track is flooded with pzero and for gt with a mustang or two.

I run a C7 here in Cali. Sometimes the Caddy also. The Lexan on the Vette seems a little thin and fragile compared to some other bodies. C7 is still good.

If they change anything it’s hopefully minor and given time to be adapted. The effective immediately didn’t go over well at most big races.

Default Body Weight

Can someone please let me know what your finished Bodies weigh. I'm pretty sure that my P Zero that is cut out on the lines, and NOT scraped does not weigh 95 grams!

You'll have to add quite a bit of weight to it. Mine finished up at 80. I had to be quite creative to add that much weight.
