When running boost and turbo on the esc do you set motor timing to 0 degrees ?

I never do, but I do turn the timing down 10-15° from wherever I was running the motor timing when the esc had no timing in it. You also may need to drop a couple teeth on the pinion too. Only way to figure out exactly what you want to do is to try something and see how it feels to you. After making a change take 10 laps to see how your car feels. After 10 laps check motor and esc temps to make sure nothing is getting too hot. Try a few different combos of gearing and motor/esc timing to see what you like.

^^^^^ even though most of the time this dude annoys the crap out of me, i agree with everything he said here for the most part. the 10-15 degree thing really depends on where the motor is when it's set. if it's set at 55 or 60 degrees before boosting, i'd go down more than 10-15 if i was going to boost it. probably more like 20-30. if the motor is at 35-45, yeah, 10-15 sounds about right. ultimately it's about feel, power, heat.
