Default Extended Balance cable for Charge leads?

I would like to make my own charge leads since I'm more than capable and don't wanna spend the $25-$30 for one but I cant find 4s xh balance wires over like 10". I'd like to do about 18". Any one know of an option?

Go to a radio shack or an online electronics parts store and order the plug. with the push in connectors.

You can also get a simple wired plug and just lengthen the wires.

Sadly RadioShack is nothing more than a mobile phone store, no more cool stuff there anymore.

Wacko, you can get the crimpers for the jst-xh connector for about $10 and probably another $10 for pins, connectors and wire. So if you plan on building more than one charge lead it would be worth the $20 for all that stuff, but really it would just be easier to buy a pre-built 4s charge lead for $25.

You can get pre-made 4S Balance Lead extensions. I've been using 20cm + 30cm extensions for the longest time in order to make charger/battery hookups easy. I ask for the extensions with soft silicone wire insulation. The stiffer insulation wire stuff works, but I feel more comfortable with 22 awg wire that flexes a bit.
