Hello!

I thought that on average value there would be a little more constant voltage on receiver around +- 0,5 V. It is very difficult to choose the right capacitor someone says the bigger capacity the better (around 5600mikroF 10V like Novak one) on the other hand the Futaba offers capacitor with low capacity only 1800 mikroF 16V.
How actually capacitor works, for example I have receiver with this specification "Power requirement Rated voltage: 4.8V-7.4V / Usable voltage: 3.5-8.4V" that mean when the voltage goes under 3,5V the capacitor take place and helps to reduce these voltage drop?
For my opinion every one with Savox servo motor and 60A ESC with BEC 2A 6V should have capacitor on receiver. Savox servo motors are very power hungry, this tell us specification "Stall current (at locked): 4000 mA @ 4.8V
- Stall current (at locked): 5000 mA @ 6.0V". For optimal servo steering the voltage should be the close as possible to 6V, because of torque and speed of servo unit. Even im my case I think that the ESC works now a little more smoothly without some strange noises, the capacitor help to reduce the load on the ESC's BEC and maybe increase the life time of ESC?

Thank you.

A capacitor is just a kind of battery with a very small capacity. It will not help with a servo stall load. It will only help with spikes from like the high frequency switching of the ESC.
