Just got my MIP shock kit!! Woohoo! Thing is I just rebuilt my shocks about two weeks ago and haven't run my car since. Anyone ever build a shock backwards? Think I'll be able to install the kit without dumping the oil and work from the bottom up.

if you don't have any extra oil I'd just run it with the stock seals until it's time for a rebuild. You'll just have to make sure you bleed them if you notice the car feeling sluggish.

The MIP kit felt fantastic over the weekend. After five packs I felt no excess air. It even seemed to make the car settle a little quicker after bigger jumps. Though maybe that's just the springs breaking in.

That is a nice touch to drop the ride height.
What are people running to protect the caps and tower up front for carpet? I made one out of lexan; but I know T Bone makes some but have not seen them in person; though I do run their bumper on my SCT410.
I also know a few were 3D printing them as well.
Curious to see what everyone is doing.

I'm currently not running that forward shock setup I wasn't happy how the dog bones align with the outdrives it didn't insert far enough in so I managed to break to outdrives in the process I put all the shims in the rear of the arms to try to push everything forward to correct the angle but still it's not good enough

I haven't noticed that with my hubs. The bearings do slide in pretty easy but I didn't feel any play once they were in there. I have another pair that are new, I'll pop some bearings in them later today and see if I notice anything off. Could be yours just had a machining accident. I've had issues like that before with Exotek parts though not often.
