I don't recall seeing that number anywhere so I'll have to pay more attention for that. Thanks!
Something like that. Though I don't think they have a part number for the club version, it only comes in the kit.

I'm really glad that this came up. When I had my car all apart I was examining the blocks and was wondering why they were solid and didn't have the shims with the tabs on them. Again, an interesting thing for AE to do but not mention.

Looks nice, but you have the rear tires on the wrong side.

LOL didnt even look at them when I put them on. Still have to put on the setup station and set everything. Gonna take a millimeter off the rear arms to move them forward. The TC4 arms are skinny then the TC7's. Also forgot to put the shim between bearings on the TC7 hubs. Lots of little things to finish up.

Did you ever consider just using the bigger ASC2227 foam with the stock TC4 bumper setup? If it is the same thickness as the stock foam it should work fine. Yes, the RPM bumper will add additional support but is that entirely necessary?

I bought this for $10: RSD053 RSD Hard Blank Front Bumper

Since I was using the stock TC4 bumper, I had to cut the stock foam in half (to 10mm) since the new hard foam was only 13mm thick. I had to trim the back side of the harder foam a bit and punch some holes. I then put the larger harder foam on the bottom with the stock foam on top of it in the bumper assembly and screwed it all together. It looks weird but works fine and no additional bumper parts were needed.

Yeah, I'm learning that bit by bit. They must not be very easy to build. My club kit came with the following problems straight out of the box:

Stripped threads on the rear trans housing. (replaced by AE)
Improperly assembled rear CV joint.
Slightly warped chassis.
All four A arm hinge pins were so tight that the arms stuck in whatever position you put them in.
Mold flashing on the inside of the lower A arms was rubbing on the transmission housing causing bind.
(Oh, and there were parts missing from the kit.)

I had the thing completely stripped down and put back together before I had even put a single electrical on it. Not a great first experience with AE.

Not entirely necessary but there’s a lot more support from the rpm plastic compared to the stock AE piece.

I ordered two of the ASC2227 bumpers to try out. As long as they are 23mm thick they should fit right into the stock bumper set. I really like the extra coverage they offer, it's even better than the foam I bought. Glad you shared the upgrade with us.

Can't wait to read about your Kaizen upgrade and how it performs. There isn't a single video on YouTube about the Kaizen upgrade. Have you considered making a video to do a review of your setup and opinion on it? You'd be the first one to do it!
I might do a little something, but I hate my voice on tape and I woke up to this this morning haha

Don't sweat the voice thing, you may hate it but others will never notice it. I have a horrible voice but still made a series of videos on YT. Nobody ever commented on my voice but did comment on how much they appreciated the videos. Go for it!

I'm interested in how the Kaizen battery hold down works and if you need to buy any extra parts to make it hold the battery in place reliably. Also, I was wondering if you had any problems with spur/pinion gears fitting. I'm running a 76/54 right now and it looks like they should fit no problems. Thanks!
