Hey guys,
Got a problem with my ESC and/or motor. I'm using a Maclam MMAX Pico and a 13.5t MRR Team Edition Ver2 motor. They are fairly new and have been running fine for my last few races, but has now developed a problem when I use full throttle. It sort of like stutters for a bit before it launches. If I ease the throttle on it's okay. I've taken a video which will hopefully show what I'm talking about.
It doesn't do it with my other Maclan ESC and motor. I've reset this ESC, I've changed the slipper and gearing, changed the sensor cable, and the ESC reciever cable. Nothing seems to fix it. Could the capacitor module be dead and need replacing?

Have you tried swapping the motor out with a working motor to try and localize the issue? If the problem goes away, there may be an issue with the motor, if the problem persist, there may be an issue with the speedo. Now vise versa, put the motor in your other car and see if its indeed the motors thats the issue. When were the units purchased? you may have to exercise the warranty and proceed here:
