"Best" is open to driver interpretation. Meaning not everyone drives the same but most these days are using either team powers or ecotek tires.
I like the gravity tires as well.
Some might chime in and have varying diffrent opinions.
Soft rear and med fronts seem to be majority of everyones consistentsy.

On that car the "best" tire setup for most outdoor tracks would be tamiya kit fronts with Ride r1 rears. The kit fronts do have a short lifespan and change dramiticly as they wear. Swapping fronts of different wear level would be your primary tunning aspect so you would need multiple sets and track their runs. If you'r not intersted in the constant tire swapping and management of kit fronts, Volante purple would be similar to a new kit & tp softs would be similar to a near eol kit. TP & Volante "medium" tires would slot in between the others. Should you decide to use the TP / volante fronts in liu of the tamiya kits you'll want to get a set of spaced front axles to balnce out their narrower offset rims. The ones I have a from r-sector but I don't think they're available anymore, if you cant find the axles, some axle spacers in conjunction with thin outer wheel bearing will get you most of the way there. For the rear Ride GR (old hudy & old gravity) would be the next gripiest rear, Ride VR, TP, Volante & Sweep rears are all well grippy.

Shimuza tires can been very good to but in my experience they can be hit & miss from track to track. TP & exotek tires are clearly the best of the "newest" generation tires out there with TP beging the more agreesive choice of the 2.
Apex likes this.
