Old Stuff, usable, sellable, garbage

Hi guys,
I'm jumping back in and trying to figure out what is still good and won't hold me back, and what I just need to ditch or sell cheap.
ESC's: LRP Spheres. Would they hold me back a lot in something like VTA?
Radio: KO EX-10 helios with Spektrum module and mini spektrum receivers. This is a big one, are the new radios worth the spend or will this one keep me competitive for now?
Novak Brushless motors: Ones a "Ballistic", the rest were from the gen before that. Just good for bashing?
Chargers: Team Checkpoint (TC1030?). A couple other random lipo chargers that charge at a max below 10 amps. Junk?
AMB personal transponders: Still fine to use, right?
Thanks in advance for any help!

Chargers will still be fine unless you want/need higher charge rates, ir measuremeant and so on.
Novak motors were questionable when they were new, not competitive anymore unless still used in a spec environment that allows Novak and only Novak motors although I think most of those classes have moved on.
The newer radios are better than the Spektrum moduled stuff. Something like the Futaba 4PV or Sanwa MT-44 will get you more features than you'll ever use with a fast reaction time at a reasonable price.
The LRP Sphere didn't have a true blinky mode. That may or maynot be an issue for you depending on the class/track you are running at. That being said, a HW Justock is so good for the money in blinky classes it is probably the greatest bargain in RC today.

I would keep everything and start from there... the club in my area still allows the Novak motors in VTA.
Might want to check with your club to see if they upgraded their firmware to RC4.5, if so, then chances are your older AMB may not be compatible anymore:
MyLaps update killing MRT, AMBrc DP and house transponders!

did you confirm if your club upgraded to RC4.5, if not then your older PT may still be good, they also offer a $25 upgrade credit for sending in older equipment:

Welcome back Peter! Are you still in Milwaukee? I made the comeback a couple years ago also. I’m in way deeper than ever before, lol! I still drive like crap though. I found a brand new t-fource a while back to put on the shelf.
