Also the servo horns that came with the kit don't fit my savox 1252. Is this normal? I mean the kit coming with servo horns that don't fit the servo?

The pins for the front hexes are black roll pins and they take some pressure to fit. The sliver pins are for the cvds or the rear hexes.

The Futaba or 25 spline horn fits the Savox servos. It is definitely a tight fit and sometimes I have to resort to using the screw that goes into the output shaft on the servo to tighten it down.

If you're happy and the car is performing well with 20k center diff, 100k might be too much. In the past with my 44.3, I liked 100k center on med to high clay, but it was too much for an outdoor looser track. You may want to consider 50k or 60k instead. Only one way to find out! Have fun

That 1257 would only be good in a 2wd in my opinion.
Understood, and sorry to hear they didn't hold up for you. We can totally relate on Spektrum; never again for me. Feels like a toy radio compared to most everything else.
EbbTide likes this.

Get it as close as possible, then use subtrim in your radio.

That doesn't sound right. You've already maxed out your sub-trim and you're still not at 90 degrees? Your trim is set to 0 and you're just using sub-trim, right?

What radio are you using?

I'm about to go over my b64d after running outdoor and I'm going to prep it for the indoor season. We run on a small tight track with 180 corners on slick tires. I found my b64d really struggles in the cornering department and I'm looking to improve that aspect of the car.

What sort of simple changes can be made to get more steering?

Have you tried the latest kit setup? Seems pretty good to me for indoor clay, they recommend a little toe out and a little higher ride height than before.

Carbon front brace and move the rear arms forward 3mm, upper shock mount goes 7mm forward.
