Carpet/turf tires generate so much grip they are capable of overwhelming the sidewall/ carcass. This is much more unlikley with clay and dirt tires. So on dirt weight can equal traction, on carpet it simply speeds up the inevitable unless you traction roll first. Its not uncommon at all to pick up grip with a sway bar since its purpose is to more evenly disribute weight tranfer. Or stiffer front springs will generate mid and exit steering. If it helps think of tires as a ball of springs. Any time you solid stack a spring your lose grip very quickly.

My very unscientific corner weights, Actually the weight is more centered than you think because the center diff is behind the center and the shocks are behind the arms.

I wouldn't read into that cross weight at all. Three twists on a shock collar and it will be perfectly even.

Thanks for the rough corner measurements! 40 grams extra on the front of the car out of the box still seems sub-optimal to me. Might work on a few surfaces, but knowing you have to add extra weight to adjust the front/rear bias is unfortunate. Wonder how long until we see speed controls and receivers mounted behind the center diff.

Anybody can tell me the dimensions of the chassis? The total length and total width? I want to know if my chassis protector will cover the whole chassis or have to get another one. Carpet track rules; we have to have a chassis protector.

Chassis 4 1/2 wide by 13 1/2 long. I am going to use the JC universal #1155. It is perfect length just need to trim the sides. 2 sheets for $8 retail.

If they don't get it by the 15th I'll probably cancel my order and hit up Amain.
Going to be real skeptical if all of a sudden Tower ships all there kits on Monday right after e-cash ends.

For those interested in a custom chassis protector, I've had really good luck with Dutch Oven Designs, you can send him any graphics you want or explain what you need and he'll make it happen, not sure how soon he'll have templates for the EB410, but I would imagine very soon:
Chassis Protectors : Dutch Oven Designs, Custom Print Solutions at an Affordable Price!
