Hello stephen_bess and all,
The Carburetor that came with XZ-B Spec III is 21J3(B) that has 6.5mm Neck diameter.
FYI, the Carburetor that came with B2102 is 22C(B) that has 6.0mm Neck diameter.
On my last race I was using B2102 and change Venturi from 6.0mm to 6.5mm, although the Neck Diameter is 6.0mm but I still gain a bit of Top-End from the 6.5mm Venturi compared to 6.0mm.
But, If somebody that has a better understanding about Air Flow Dynamics maybe can give a better insight..
Cheers..

ok so I have a spec 3 and got the 2058 a while back and it's been an ok performer but nothing special.so I'm ready to purchase an os pipe.so which is pipe will deliver the most bottom end between the 2060/2090 or 2060/41001 or I know this isn't technically an os pipe but the lrp screamer 93 or anything else that I may not know about.im not concerned with smoothness either I'd rather have too much bottom end than not enough.i can tune it out other ways if necessary.as always thanks for you guys help

Hello Mfavor,
I would also suggest You to get 2060 for Your XZ-B Spec III. If in one time You are looking for more punch then You could get the 2002 Manifold (80 mm).
Cheers..

So I retract my statement about the 2058 pipe.it does very well.i just found I made a stupid noobie mistake with my linkage causing the brakes to drag.once I fixed that the engine was a whole different animal.so now that I'm seeing the 2058 has gobs of top and bottom end.which is pipe has the most linear powerband.im leaning toward the 2060 since it's what comes with the spec 3 but I've heard nothing but great things about the 2090.i just wish I had a way to try them out first bf dropping big bucks on them.or if anyone has one used they wanna sell let me know.thanks again gents

I'm running the Spec III with the AMR Backplate and 2090 pipe in my MBX7R buggy and man, this thing hauls butt. It's insanely fast, I have some issues with some exponential power spikes in the mids but I guess thats just tuning it perfectly.

thanks guys for you replies.2060 it is then.another question,I originally wanted the spec 2 when I got the 3 which was discontinued at the time.so now that some people have run both the spec 2 & 3 if u were going to buy another speed would u get another spec 3 or would u get the spec 2.im wanting the spec 2 tessman edition but if the spec 3 has everything and more than the 3 then I'll grab another one for sure.im hoping the spec 2 has even more bottom end or that's what I think I've gathered from the research I've done.thanks.
