I found out what the changes were to the 18.

Awesomatix will have their hands full now.

The changes have already been posted in the T4 2018 thread on here and on the T4 Facebook page

Having their hands full now meaning a lot of drivers will switch to Awesomatix?

Definitely not a pro here, but on the rare occasions my car feels really good I would start looking for things to improve corner speed.

I have recently found that trying other bodyshells can improve corner speed etc without effecting the handling much. So perhaps simply trying different bodyshells might make it even better

I have to confess that I've never had this problem before. I hope things go this well with my incoming MTC1.

Oh yes... I've seen Awesomatix here in the UK extremely fragile. VERY Fast for the top drivers but certainly in colder weather the car is very fragile and a real PITA to work on and setup.

I'm actually thinking about trying an XRay T4 '18 as I've been running Serpent for more than 25 years in nitro and since the original 411 in electric touring car. I love my Project 4X but I want to see if can be a lot faster with an Xray. If I'm not then I'll go back to the 4X. I'm looking forward to finding out!

Was it that the car was much easier to drive so the consistency was better or was the Xray just quicker over a single lap and if so how much quicker were you? Thanks for the feedback.

As he was replying to my post where I mentioned Serpent 4x - Xray I kind of assumed he switched from Serpent 4x - Xray. Not awsomatix.
