Running what ever motor you want ruined mini before . Tcs rules !! Everyone runs the same motor . This shouldn't be a debate . And is not fair to guys that have bought the tcs spec motor . We haven't even started racing the mini and we are making exceptions ????

It is tamiya however....
I think making an exception for someone to run an older motor for a few weeks until they can buy the proper TCS motor is reasonable.

With gear limited chassis, literally...gear limited chassis, it benefits us to stick to a spec motor.

I think we draw the line at 3 weeks barring extenuating circumstances.
After that they may have problems will wheel nuts falling off from the extra power

It is weird! But there are only 2 reedy M3 21.5 motors. part # ASC253 with a stamp of 273 and part # ASC284 which some have stamp 272 and some don't have a stamp at all.
So the legal motor is ASC253 with stamp 273.
So the legal motor is ASC253 with stamp 273.

This motor which cost $51.99 from Hobbywing North America is a fixed timing motor of high quality that would be an ideal M chassis spec 21.5 motor for club racing.
