Has anyone been playing with swaybars on the 07 on high grip carpet yet? I've installed the red front/blue rear, but won't have a car on the carpaet for at least another month.

Ive been busy this summer didnt think to ask till now. Too busy playing with my scale trucks/crawlers to race or think of it.

Can't tell if this is official, or a really good cut n shut chassis. If it's a one off, it's very good. That servo mount is insane, in any case. One note that makes me think it's real is in the video. Several large Tamiya branded cardboard boxes, a mini 4WD track and it just kinda looks like it.

I suppose something that makes me think it's real is the Tamiya motor and battery connectors. Who uses those?! I'm still trying to figure out that servo mount. That's a chunky piece of alloy and would seem unnecessary.

I'm on the fence. The tub looks pretty well moulded, so if it's a fake, it's convincing. However, the elaborate alloy servo mount and the apparently unnecessary screws on the underside of the tub, plus the rear body mount post brace holes are in the wrong location for the stock brace, suggest it's not official (or it's an unpolished prototype).

The screws on the bottom attach the ridiculous servo mount at the bottom. I'm thinking the top and bottom had to be cut in different areas and maybe some of the vertical stuff on either side of the servo had to be sacrificed to make this work, or at least to make room to get a Dremel in there. It's hard to figure out, but it appears some of the shortening was done just ahead of the rear suspension and some under the servo, which would explain the missing vertical pieces and the stupid big servo mount.

Dammit. I'm bored and I've got a spare chassis. This is a tempting puzzle.

EDIT: I need sleep...and a life. Okay, figured out the chop. Not that hard to do. Not quite as sanitary as this one, but very, very close.

Also, in the video, the track boards look exactly like those at Tamiya events. Coincidental? Yes. It was shot at http://genkikkosan.com/ . They're a shop with a smallish room that's primarily for mini 4wd, but they do run m chassis sometimes.
