Hope your comment makes you feel better and stronger champ!

The guy is asking about the Gimar Speed. As Dan mentioned, this engine is used by Alessio. A few guys run it here (the photo is my friends car).

The JP name is still associated with Ginar brand, so people often get this mixed up.
The comment were not about you Michael.
It was for the other guy Ralph that have mixed jp with gimar.
I forgot to type his name.
He thought that the guy asked about old jp series.but of course he were asked about latest gimar engines from Giovanni Crea.
So relax every one.

Finchy,i think you have mixed things up.the name jp were sold around 2010 to Giovanni Crea in Italy.he were keep the "look" of the old jp engines but they were different.
The latest 2017 engines have the rb's design heads.
Time to time some jp engines comes out that is tuned by old jp in France.

I hope i clear things up.

My local dealer has the 2017 GIMAR engine, also want to know how it performs compared to the MITO WC since the prices are similar.

It's different platform, Gimar is 14mm crankshaft, WC is 14.5mm

That does not make a difference, on paper the 14mm crankshaft is even better due the lower rotation weight.

But the current Gimar models are "tuned" by Fantini so I expect they do run the same as the MAX engines.
