My M07 is on order ...already a few guys at our club have theirs in hand.
Someone mentioned that they are having a difficult time getting a shorty pack to fit ...as the bullet plugs enter where the chassis brace is. ...can anyone shed some light on this? Or I guess I can wait 'til I get my M07 in hand.

I'm thinking about sliding the battery to the left a little to expose the connectors just insid the frame or, mount the ESC on the left and slide the battery right a little. The other option is a super shorty.
The real problem is how to keep it stuck to the car.

Seriously however, the thought had crossed my mind, but I can't get the idea out that there's a way to secure a shorty pack. It seems antithetical to in a full size pack after so much time spent trying to centralize weight.

Hudy tape. Just like a pan car. Mine is positioned to the right so the
contacts are on the left side (as is the ESC). The edge of the battery
is aligned with the lower chassis (shorty pack). Easy access.

seems that the M07 isn't perfect after all.

Buy the 3M/Scotch branded stuff. It's where Hudy buys theirs before they quadruple the price. Good idea though.
Anyway, I had a brainwave. The bottom battery holder parts can be installed backwards. So, If you install the left one backwards, the battery can go all the way to the right and you use a piece of foam to fill in the gap on the left side.
If you turn the right one backwards, the battery is more centralized and you still use a piece of foam to fill in the gap on the left.
Or, if you're feeling crafty, modify the battery holder on the left side by hacking out the annoying extra material and gluing whats left back together.
