I'd really love it if they gave a proper briefing of what the team have been testing and what parts are being released. I'm desperate to get hold of the VTD soon as I think it will really suit the tracks I run on.

It's just been really quiet recently on the development of the 4x...

Can you clarify, is the linear top deck set and the suspension set, is that all you need for one car? Or do I need to buy two packs of the short link set as well?

401742 will get you everything you need for the new pull rod design. As with the previous pull rods, try and make sure they are the exact same length, it's a little harder since there is no turnbuckle, so just play with the lengths and how far the set screw goes into one side. I'd recommend about .5mm of space between the two ball cups.

401743 are spares.

401738 will give you VTD. A new servo mount is still on the way, removing the need for the center spline (401646). In the mean time you can cut 401646 behind the 3rd most forward hole (just behind servo), which will give you a very similar feel.

401739 is just spares for VTD.

401747 is a bit of a mystery to me, I'll report back when I hear more details.

For what it's worth, 401742 and 401738 are fantastic upgrades.

I race on a pretty high traction parking lot asphalt track. Would these be recommended upgrades?

The pull rods for sure. I think the VTD will be better, but it's an awfully easy thing to switch back. I ran all of the parts at the latest CTS race in Fresno, CA, and the car was fantastic. I had a less than stellar outcome, but it wasn't the cars fault.

Honestly, the car just is much more predictable and consistent.

Awesome thanks a lot man!

Heard on the FB page the 401747 is for the rear steer.

That makes sense, must shorten the link length.

Thank you for the info!
for the 401738 it is a must to cut 401646 behind the 3rd most forward hole (just behind servo)
