les, no 4.0 for me so only compare to eryx 3.0'and the Xray 16/17 I had. Both built like tank. I've chewed more drive blades with the serpent but that's minor. I found the xray numb and lacked corner speed/rotation. I find the new car has the perfect balance between steering and rear grip. You only need springs, oils and shins to tune. Changing caster quickly is a revelation and the adjustability inn the new steering rack is awesome especially in hot conditions. I'm runing heavy battery and fans so I'm at 1400 grams. Loving the new car but Still getting whooped by young eyes and awesomatix :/

The arms on the knuckles sweep downwards, below the center of the axle. That should help you determine which is which.

Default droop

Yeah, everyones least favorite subject - droop.

Just to be clear, per the setup sheet: 10mm blocks and then a droop gauge at the bottom of the ball pivot correct?

Most of us are getting our droop number in mm by placing chassis flat on the set up board and using a ride height gauge to measure under the hub. This is reflected in the set up sheets.

The more I live with this chassis, the less I can tolerate a traditional one. So easy to work on and tune.

Steering and grip for days...

Really looking forward to how it develops over the next few cycles. Serpent is really onto something here.

Bent a bulkhead - 401654 - seems impossible to get a hold of! I've had this ordered with my LHS for over a month now... nothing

It looks like Serpent America has the bulkheads in stock at the moment if you want to order online.

Also you should take a look at the facebook page. There is a member over there making a very nice brace to help strenghthen the bulkheads to help prevent bending.

Videos about what exactly? Serpent have a few videos on the 4x by its designer David Ehbar. You'll find links to them on the serpent site.
