The fronts on mine were loose, really loose. Replaced them with some Mugen orings I had left over which are slightly thicker but add some much needed resistance to the collars.

I read this today and that was my next step and ... I have the same issue. Fronts are great, rear is very loose. No way it's going to hold. Going to call Tekno tomorrow. Bummer.

I haven't started my build but I assume there is going to be an oring issue with the rear suspension? Is there some sort of list to get on to get correct ones?

Was hoping my first Tekno experience would be positive...crossing my fingers.

For the people using the tekin system how are you wiring that long a$$ sensor wire? I cant find a spot for it.

I usually wrap it around the soldered wires once and it is enough to reduce any real slack. Keeps it out of the way of the drivetrain. You could also use a zip tie.

Asked before, and no one answered, or confirmed checking.

The o-rings to seal the cap, and the one for the shock collar are in the same bags. It is possible that the wrong one was used in the wrong place. Can you guys go over these and confirm if this is the issue? The shock collar will definitely feel loose if the o-ring isn't right.

The sensor wire included in the tekin system is way too long. Grab a 100mm long wire, and you'll be all set.

All 5+ of us didn't build the front right and the back wrong. I even put the cap o ring in the collar just to make sure I didn't screw up. The o ring is the wrong size.

I went through my shock build last night and was paying very close attention to this in light of this discussion... I encountered the same issue. I'm not convinced it's an issue with the rings, though... it's quite possible that the collars or the bodies aren't the proper size.

At any rate, there's definitely an issue somewhere. Hopefully under load, there will be enough pressure from the spring compression to keep the collars in place, but it's not a long-term solution.
