Aren't blue fronts what comes in the kit stock?

Medium softs come in the kit.

I guess I assumed blues were kit springs per Andy Murray's setup sheets. The manual does not seem to call out which front spring is used, only rear center and side springs. Nonetheless, one of the first tweaks I did to the car was yellow springs (a step softer than blues) in the front and picked up a considerable amount of steering.

The part number of the kit front spring is in the exploded diagram. Yes Andy, and most drivers in the UK use blue fronts, but carpets are different. Tune to the amount of front end you need (as you are already doing).

Has anyone done the High Roll center setup? What are the effects on handling if it were done?

Has anyone driven this car on asphalt? Let me know your thoughts.

I'm just getting into 1/12 scale racing and our asphalt is supremely smooth, but I love the car. Responds really well to setup changes and is super easy to drive with the box stock set up. I went to the yellow springs up front and 50k in the damper tubes with no front brace and the car is almost dialed. I need to pick up another half second at least to be on pace with the faster guys in the region, but at least half of that is driving ability and setup compromise. I usually trade a few tenths of lap time for a car that is easier to drive and more consistent. The Eclipse seems to be a great match for me. Everyone comments that it looks like it's on rails.

Got an interesting one.

Has anyone broken the camber turnbuckle? Some how I broke it. The wishbone and everything else survived without a mark, but the turnbuckle broke.

First part I have ever broken on the car in 6 months and it is one I don't carry spares for.

Does the Yokomo front end just bolt-on?

Unfortunately tge awesome Yokomo front end is not a direct fit onto a Schumacher chassis plate. The car pictured was done via a one-off custom chassis plate that was made upon request by Mike at McFactory. The car's owner kindly let me test drive it. I liked his car so much that I built up a Yokomo R12C3.1 of my own.
