Thanks for posting pics of spoilers.
Can someone explain what chord means in relation to a spoiler? I've never really understood that. Does it mean how long the material is? If you had a really big chord but only could have have the highest point above the rear trunk lid a few millimeters, would the angle of the spoiler be very low? Would it look something like this?

On airplanes, "Chord" is the width of the wing. To determine surface area, for instance, you take the wingspan x the chord width. I would think its the same on a spoiler "wing" as well.

Not sure where you got the body. Early on, there were no detail decals, but it's been quite a while that we have been including them. You may have gotten a very early one. The Mustang has gotten a little leaner and meaner too....

Yeah. I must have gotten an early one. Mine didn't have detail decals. I traded with a friend for it.
I still really like it, but it looks like I might be ordering another for when it's time to replace this one.
The one I have sits a little higher compared to the Pontiac Trans Am I have.

It was painted by one of our regular racers at Indy RC Raceway, Chuck. He has a graphics/sign business for a living. Makes some awesome bodies. I know he put some time into this one as he does all of his bodies. He is an avid VTA racer. Usually in the top spot or near it.

I hope to buy another from him. This body is so nicely done I don't want to race it and mess it up. It's friggin art.

No worries Scott, I really like the body. Thanks for the trade to start with. I'll just order the new one when the time comes. Hopefully my driving skills have improved to where this one will last me a good while.
Besides, I don't need the leaner and meaner version to stay in front of you!!!
Hope to see you at Bush River on the 15th for the trophy race.
