Xray makes narrow pinions. I do sometimes run foam inserts on carpet and asphalt. They add "pack" which can make the car transition faster and feel more stable.

Looking for some thoughts how to get more steering but with much less steering lock as that scrubs off way to much speed the area I'm looking at changing is the front inserts tried the usual springs, toe droop ride height diff etc.
Is there any solid info on the affects on the inserts I understand roll centre but the affects of towing the front arms out not to sure.
The car is going well and often finishes in the top 3 just need that get through the tight stuff with less lock.
Thanks for any help
Richard

Less bump steer shims (1-2mm max).
Try standing the front shocks up one hole.
Try pin eccentrics of FF 0.5 down and out, FR 0.5 down.
Also try softer shock oil in the front.
Sounds like you need the car to react quicker... which the above will help with.

Anyone else experience the white front belt being longer/looser than the stock black belt on the 17? Two different cars from two different drivers at our local track had the same result. They didn't skip ir rub anything excessively, but was just an observation.

Are they experiencing the belts looser from new or after some use? I have found that the low friction belts do tend to loosen up from new more than the black belts, but they seem to hit a threshold and stay the same length after a few runs.
