High front to gain more steering. High at back as long as you have enough traction out of corners. If loose out, put diff rear low.

Cheers - rear toe, too, obviously, can't believe I forgot that one!

So you don't tinker with RC's at all?!?

Thanks!

Of course you always try stuff, but that's a pretty solid starting point for high bite. You'll have to adjust camber, toe, ride height, and spacers on the camber link to get it exactly how you want it.

I ran 2.6's all around on high grip crc carpet. and it was fine. I need to see how the progressive springs work, I imagine you have more exit steering.

I was gonna try it at the Snowbirds but didn't have enough time .

Building a diff for the front of my t4 2017, it works so well on my t4 2015 that I want to try it on the new car. Besides the obvious weaker stock out drives what can I expect? Will the stock ones break easily and will the aluminum ones work without bending? I'm currently running the steel out drives on my 2015 but want to see if these stock ones will hold up.....your thought and opinions are welcome.

Thanks,

The progressive springs keep the front of the chassis from touching the track, which takes away steering. You end up with more steering all the way through the corner on the Hard Progressives.

Does anyone know where I can get one of those glass plates to set the chassis on and the rod for applying pressure to the bulkheads?

Pro level rc has them. Contact drew on facebook. Robbie Dodge may have one for sale at his track as well.

I have some of the APEX RC ones here at home. Just shoot me a PM. Solid tempered glass and rod with a padded carrying case.

Thanks,
Had the xray alu outdrives in my spool, after a year of racing (every other week, asphalt track indoor with concrete barriers), bought the steel ones since the alu will bend and the gap will widen to the point there was a noticeable play with the front tires. That's running with 17.5 blinky.

Default Steering setup issues

I am finishing up my '2017 build and I am running into problems with the steering setup.

1.) The Steering link is hitting the topdeck. As stated in the manual I shimmed it 5mm.

2.) This is my main issue right now, I cannot get an equal throw left and right. With 100% steering I always end up with the endpoints at 85L and 95R. If I increase the throw to the left the shims hit the steering rack. Since the steering is symmetric there shouldn't be that much of a difference with the EPAs in my opinion.
