I have personally spoken with Fred from Tamiya about the Rakiri body. He told me it was 100% not a real car. Whatever it may appear to look like, I have to take his word for it being a fantasy body. Since it was not allowed at TCS last year for reasons of realism, I would have to assume Tamiya USA does not think it is a real car either.
I also have to reemphasize what Kevin has said about the PFM-10, MX-Stang, etc. These bodies are made to resemble real cars as much as they can without a lawsuit. It's pretty obvious what car they are modelling.

No but we are PAYING to race. USGT was created so what REALISTIC GT bodies are used. There are also body rules for USVTA, BRCA, ROAR and IFMAR and by saying USGT should have no rules regarding bodies then I might as well put an LTCR on and call it a "GT" body.

For most commom sense everybody know the rules for each classes... I might as well run an Rakiri body in the modify class ,Yeah Right

RobK and KevinK have spoken. Deal with it. Don't forget that the rules, RobK and Kevin have ALL stayed that your local race director can allow/disallow any body they like. Can we (finally) move on now, or have we all become archaeologists and only interested in digging up old $h!+? (See that? It looks like a bad word, but it isn't. However, we all know what I meant!)

USGT has no official races on the West coast. Last weekend at the 209 Raceway they had 24 cars at the CenCal Challenge they had 30 USGT. Those race didn't use the New USGT body rules and just used the old USGT rules. I appreciate the heck out of the hard work Kevin and RobiK do and when I go to a official USGT race I will have a body that is rules compliant a Cadillac like everyone else. LOL thanks for hard work I didn't post the pic for that dead horse to be beat. I was proud of my last paint job I wanted to share it.

Hi from Cancun,Mexico. I know that this body wonīt be within USGT body rules but thought you guys might be interested in seeing it. Because of the mechanical layout of this chassis it is possible to mount bodies that donīt fit conventional touring car chassis. Since we donīt have organized RC racing here in Cancun I get my RC fix by buying and painting bodies and also just some bashing with our on-road cars at a local outdoor cement basketball court year-round.
