Well, I finally got some paint on my Proline Racing 2017 Ford Raptor Body. Can wait to run my Tekno MT 410 with it. It's been long over due. As my Cali brothers know. It's been raining and cool. Which is not ideal for painting. But my patience for better weather ran out.

I took a chance. Three days and sometimes nights. Is what it took to paint this body and a ton of waiting for paint to dry. Hence the three day paint period.

Challenging to say the least, but here is the outcome.

Right on! Thanks man.

I'm certainly not a pro, but I do enjoy this aspect of the Hobby.

I'd have to agree with Celt. Looks great and mad skills on the paint.

I feel your CA pain. Haven't maidened mine yet due to the rain. We need it so I'm good with that. Sunday is clear as a bell and 76* so you know where I'll be.

You guys are so cruel, I'm a native of San Diego, living in Madison Wisconsin.

Care to guess what the temperature here is?

RCWERKZ: That paint job is unreal! Honestly one of the best I've seen! How did you get that splatter effect on the front?

Truck looks awesome. Trying to resist the urge to get another vehicle......

I truly appreciate your warm words. Thank you!

@Celt, not quite sure but I'm sure it's super cold.

@AGHOman, I lightly apply pressure to the spray can nasal. I mean super light. It then sprays in spots rather than mist. The lighter the pressure the larger the spots. Can has to be cool, in temp.

Here are some snaps from a few nights ago.

It was raining. Decided to a least take a few pics. I also swapped the MX38's for these Proline 3.8 Mashers. I'm glad I did. They give the MT410 a Monster Truckish look.

My youngest giving me his sign of approval.

Time well spend with these two characters.

Not yet! I did have my transmitter that night. I was a spontaneous shoot. They will as soon as we have some Sun and an open area to run freely.

So I may have messed up. On the first two shocks(front) I drilled through the port on the top of the shock cap and not the side so I have two shocks one way and two the other, anyone see any issues here? I was going to order new caps and fix them but I thought I'd ask, I also thought about using a set screw to plug the ported hole on top of the shock and then drilling the side like the manual says. Two kids running wild through the house, it's amazing it's not built upside down.

Now I just need to pick a motor and a servo, I have a vlx-6s for an esc, before I get harassed it's the quickest and easiest way that I found to "tone" it down for my 7yo son. I haven't tried to fit it yet so it may be too big. May just get a castle 1515 2200kv, I'm all about the waterproof so that I can hose everything off at the end of the day.
