I have no idea what he's talking about so I didn't comment. And I'm bored, at work (never a good combo) and happened to hop on here. My shocks are fine. I don't cover them with anything.

Yup, and we'll meet in the middle at Motorama to race together 1 weekend a year.

Ah ok, see I figured they would cause issues.. I don't mind using normal boots. Just I saw people on facebook saying the covers don't cause any binding issues, and some people even said that normal boots cause more issues than the covers? Ill just stick with the boots if that's the case. I've just seen a lot of talk the past few days about the covers so I figured I'd ask. Thanks for the reply!

ProTek makes really nice servos as well, so definitely check them out.

I would use the Tekno boots vs. over the spring covers, but if I wasn't me and was going to go with these shock socks, then check out their measuring section here:
http://www.badhorsie.com/faq/shock-s...asurement.html

Tekno has 16mm shock bodies w/ 65-85mm springs. However, I don't know the actual spring diameter, but I suspect that the 'small' springs (for springs 16.5 - 17.5mm, up to 102mm in length) would fit though a quick measure would tell you for sure.

If you're talking about the play on the hinges then it's normal and should be less as you add sweep/kickup.

Just wanted to make sure that the new steering components will work on the .3? Can anyone that has ran them give some feedback on their performance.

Yes, but you have to use it all. (ackerman, bellcrank, and I believe spindles.) All are in stock at fierceRC.

To add to this, you'll also need to trim the front of the mudguards and body for clearance as well as cut your steering turnbuckles down (remove about 3mm from both ends) or buy shorter ones from lunsford.

Can you or someone else explain what the new steering stuff is supposed to do? different geometry, what is supposed to be better about it?
