Any talk of a new model coming out?

Hard to pass this up.

Pure speculation- but I think there has to be something. On the MT410 thread it was stated that the steering geometry had changed completely. If you look at the drag link, it is a fair bit different than what is currently used.

If you look on the new parts page on Tekno's site, you'll see the new steering parts. They list them as being compatible with the EB/NB 48.4 so I'd say we'll see new cars sooner than later....

I have been hearing rumors about one, I guess that confirms it.

I went ahead and purchased one, I just couldn't pass up this great deal. When the .4 comes out I could use the new parts I would think but the .3 is a proven design.

I am looking into one of these, how much do we know right now as far as what would be changed going from a .3 to a .4? Could factor that in to price of a used eb48.3 and see if its worth it or just wait for the .4

Nothing is known at this point, besides that ackerman arm obviously changes the steering. Leads me to believe that there may be a change on spindle side. I'm sure it will have a lot of the current "option" parts in it, but I doubt we'll see universals on the 4 corners as they are more of a tuning aid.

I doubted any suspension changes to geometry, but others have said there is.

We're all in await and see approach right now.

And I'm quite positive that if there is an upgrade path, that Fiercercsolutions will have one available.

What the public knows is what you see on the Tekno site for the new parts. The limited team guys can't discuss it. You know the drill. If you do your homework and look at recent race reports in the US that had tons of media attention (hint vegas), you'll find all you need to know.

^^^Spot on....I could actually garner some info when the .3 was about to drop....This time no one is saying anything.

That ackerman arm is the first confirmation something is coming that I've seen. I'm getting anxious to find out. Just like everyone else.

The hard part about looking back at worlds, is you don't know what was prototype, and what will make it....So regardless, it's a wait and see.

Judging by the pics from the worlds and other places

chassis
steering components
front spindles and uprights
A, B, C, and D plates
A-arms
diff bulkheads
rear hubs

I don't think updating from .3 to .4 will be worth it. Just wait for the .4

Please leave truggies alone. I don't think I could improve on my setup if I tried.

What doesn't work for ebuggy on a rough track? I don't think there is a track that gets rougher than the one I regularly club race on. It's an old school dirt track with loam, sand, and some hard park. It changes lap to lap, let alone heat to heat. What is it doing that you don't like? Do you have a setup sheet?

So with some .4 stuff popping up, what does everyone do with their old models? I know and sell before the new one releases, some just slowly buy the upgrade parts, etc.. I hate to sell my .3 for such a discount, but I don't see the point of holding onto a outdated kit that I would never race again, since I'd most likely only use the new kit... So what's the best option? ><
