I never had any problems with the steering links and servo saver, I used the top central hole in the servo saver as per manual, adjusted the servo to seat lower as to avoid the link arm rubbing up against the top deck. Other than that no issues whatsoever. My 17 is on pace with the 16 at the mo, still playing around with the setup though. Ity responds well to changes, flex more specifically. I have just installed the PSS shocks, I hope there will be a difference as our track is somewhat bumpy. I started out with 5k rear diff oil, I have changed this to 3k as per manual, hope it helps with some of the understeer I'm battling with at the start of a run, also hoping it solves the quick direction change in the chicane we have. Hope someone can suggest other solutions.

that's the way it should be, but on mine it (can) hit the topdeck, given where the square on the link sits at that moment... you can free up half a mil or so by pushing the servo down and stuff, but it's still very close, and when the car is loaded and flexing in a hi-grip turn, it will rub...

PSS don't usually work well on bumpy tracks, the floating steering does though

Try shortening the link. I know it says in the manual that the saver should be perpendicular to the chassis in the middle position. But having it slightly to the right side will provide enough clearance to the top deck and should actually move more equally to both sides.

I've had the same thing on Sanwa servos. Previously I replaced the Xray turnbuckle with a 3racing titanium one, which has a smaller profile hex and doesn't hit the topdeck. You can also replace the 6mm steering post with 4-5mm of shims to lower the link.

These days it seems the shimmed topdeck is run everywhere in the UK for extra grip, and that also solves the clash issue.

You can use a 5mm shim on the steering plate instead of the 6mm , as suggested in the manual on page 16.
I have done it, and no problem.
The rest is build as per manual.

Default Positive camber

looking at t4 2017 setup sheets on xray site, i see most show a positive value for camber. Is this correct? Im new to onroad and i thought i heard not to run positive ( wheels leaning out )

You should never run positive camber.

Wheels should always point in at the top.
