True, but with the new buggy having new diff cases (and maybe diffs from what I am hearing), plus new A,B,C,D plates it makes sense that they may update the truggy this time around. It's a really, really good platform as is but that doesn't mean they can't make it even better.

Easy access front and rear diffs would be nice.

I am so hooked on Tekno!!! A sponsored guy let me try his et48.3 and I couldn't believe it! He was the one that told me about rctech as I am mainly on fb. I told him I was selling all my other cars and was gonna buy etruggy and ebuggy. He even offered to let me continue using his etruggy for the rest of the year, but I didn't want that responsibility. He aslo lwt my son run his sct for a couple race days. Turns oit bc of his generosity he was taken out of 1st place. He didn't even say word to me about that. Such a nice guy! Anyway. Love Tekno and your driver.
Can't wait for next year!!!

One thing that I don't know if the newer kits have changed or not. For the rear chassis brace, make sure you get a longer screw (14 or 15mm instead of the 10mm that was in the original ET48.3 kits). That screw goes down through the brace and into the rear diff carrier.

You may also find my video series on my build helpful.

Have watched just about all of your videos justpoet. Thanks for taking the time to make clear and precise videos that I will likely be watching again during my build.

And luckily I did find a 13 or 14mm long screw in a parts bin. I will confirm if the kit's screw has gotten longer or not.

This is a wonderful tool to have if you don't have anything like it.

Yep could have used that^^....but will have it when I build the EB :]

As promised a pic of newly built ET48.3 Loved the build, my kit did have a 10mm chassis brace screw but I used a longer one.

Nice!

Yeah, the shock tool is probably my favorite tool, and most used behind my 2mm and 2.5mm hex drivers and needle nose, 'cause it does almost everything in a build.

That's awesome. Welcome to the Tekno takeover.I have more work that need to be done on my buggy and sct, but I stumbled onto a setup with my truggy that is just awesome.

I let a friend at the track try it a few weeks ago, and he liked it. Then yesterday I gave up my main, and let him run it with the timing on, and he let out some blistering consistent laps, but had 2 bad ones. He came off the stand all smiles, and will now be buying one. (I have to unfortunately build it for him, and put my setup in it....Which I will regret for sure. He was 2 seconds faster than me with my truck)
