You've got nearly a year to get it sorted for the Bendigo Classic next year for the rc-mini.net Re-union Nats...

I stripped out my gear the other day; My pinion was only meshing halfway on the gear.

I had upgraded my M05 to a M05v2 so I a unclear on how many mm distance from the endbell of the motor to the to top of the pinion should be so I get a full mesh of pinion and gear.

I think the instructions say 16mm, but I don't think that is enough.

What are other people doing in this area?

You bought a m05 vii chassis right? You need to download the manual for the mo5 vii and look at the gears. You need a 5X1.6mm shim on one of the gear shafts. Then use the jig to set the pinion on the motor shaft. Same distance as it always been

Not sure if I'll be running it any time soon, I've still got my M03 that I need to master.

I had them on but took them off. They added to much weight. I'm just as fast with them off.
