I definitely got that vibe in my emails with him. Super nice about the whole transaction.

The motor is not slow.

I'm just curious about laydown still. I do think it's gonna take over just like mid motor did over rear motor. I have the 6d with the laydown but only have a couple of packs threw it so far. It definitely is a little different. Is there a setup out that is for a medium bite indoor track that runs slicks.

For outdoors, no. For anything medium bite or more? Yes.

Sorry yes for indoor. I have been looking around and it seems like setups are all over the place. When I ran my b5m ce I put cavs roar Nats setup on it from last year and it fit me perfect. Was almost sad to sell it and get a 6d lol.

Take a look at Kurt's setups he has been posting to FB. They should also be on the Petitrc site. FB is either Kurt Wenger or Kurt "Coach" Wenger.

See you soon buddy Looks like you will be one of the first guinea pigs

Guys are running the D, but I haven't seen lay-down yet. Heading up there to watch tonight. Will let you know if I see anything interesting.

What's up Sean, I actually already did try laydown at mimis a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't terrible but I know it can be a lot better.

Hey KC - Tonight was my first time out with the B6D/standup, and ran it at Mimis. I practiced for 3 minutes to see if I wanted to run that or my SRX2. I opted for the B6D. We went right into the quals and mains (and I only did very minor tweaks after each qual). By main time I was feeling more comfortable and actually got the track record. It's the fastest I had ever run there, with my fastest hot lap. This was also on Primes that are a few weeks old. Unfortunately, I got 2nd in the main - Chris beat me and needless to say his name got to be on the board. Total bummer!

My only point is that kit form you don't have to do too much to get it to work at Mimis (at least with the standup). I have a total of 27 minutes on the car. I have a laydown on order, but I think I'm going to try to work on refining the standup setup for a few weeks, and then spend a few weeks on the laydown. Let me know what you end up with setupwise with the laydown (and I'll give you my standup setup when done!).

I continue to be impressed with the durability of this car (knocks on wood as he types this). Probably have 15 packs through the car now with TONS of cart wheels and pipe slappers and short of the rear wing looking a little more haggard, the car has had zero other issues.
