Is anyone running their 419 in USGT carpet?

I initially set up car for Sorex 28 and worked well. But now that I have switched to the USGT Ride tyres rear end grip has been a challenge. It's coming around off power

Here is where car is at:
Shock oil: 45wt, X springs silver rear, red front
Rear 2.0, XA-E, diff 7000k
Front 1.5, C/C, 0° toe, spool
Ground clearance 5.

Droop... I'm completely confused on what measurement everyone uses these days lol. Rear has 1mm more than front.

You'll probably want to let people know if it's coming around on-power or off-power. 1mm more uptravel in the rear is a very common setup.

Are you on carpet or asphalt? Your diff fluid seems high. Most run 3k - 5k. My EXO6 is pretty hooked up in USGT. I actually had to tighten the rear end up when I switched to 21.5 TC.

One thing to try is more rear toe, and less rear droop. Maybe go out one hole on front shocks. Also I am only running 35wt (ae) fluid. 3 hole piston. 45wt may be too thick amd not letting the suspension react quickly enough when you come off power.

Sorry about that. I'm on carpet. I was running 3k in the diff and after a crash managed to damage that diff. My spare was prepped with 7000, since that is what everyone has been running. They're also running front diff with 2.5 mill where as I'm still with a spool.

With both 3k and 7k the rear was still coming around off power.

I race USGT, but on asphalt, when my rear came around off power it was due to not enough rear droop. I also agree that 45wt might be a little much.

Thanks.. will try stepping down to 40wt, which is what I used to run on asphalt in USGT. Are you running 35wt on asphalt?

I actually run 32.5 Losi with ride green springs on low traction asphalt. For this summer I will run 35wt. If your only experiencing trouble off power I would try more rear droop before making other changes ! Another thing, the tires we use in USGT get better after a few good runs, they will start to balloon a bit and look like a motorcycle tire. At that point they hook up good for me, I then adjust camber depending on tire wear and how my car responds on corner entry and exit.

Got my shape ways F block. Some one mentioned a lot of slop and the pin does seem to be really loose when its just the pin in the block but once everything is together it seems ok. This is just until the TRF parts come out anyway. unfortunately i won't get to try it this weekend

Default TRF 419X

Question:

Do you guys use instant cement for sealing the edges of the cf chassis plate?

In the manual of the old 419 it's mentioned on page 4 as first step, in the manual of the new 419X this building step dissapeared. Same for the upper deck and the shock towers...

Exotek chassis used in tb Evo 5/6 conversions does not need cement either. I think MikeR suggested to use thread locker to get a deeper blue/black. Just an stetical matter anyway...

I think cement affects flex somehow and it is not really needed for sealing in newer chassis.
