Sanwa Super Vortex Plus Zero (Built-in RX-472)

Anyone have any bad experiences?
Someone brought up the point if either esc or RX failed... your out for both.
Seems like a cool idea. But scared if any other downsides to the combo...

Sanwa is well known for world class radios (Tx and Rx) and servos. It does not (yet) have much of a name for ESCs. That is the only "negative" (if you'd even call it that) I can think of besides the already mentioned down side of having two devices in one box. But for me it's enough to not try it (yet).

Considering the cost is comparable to other mid/high end ESC's, its like you are getting the Rx for free, so from a cost perspective, its a great deal. Also, from a cost/failure point of view, no difference then any other ESC failing.
I ran one in a 4wd buggy, also have used a non-plus in various on road applications, all worked well, super easy to adjust via the Tx.
One thing to consider, I do not think the Plus is ROAR legal for stock blinky racing, and never will be I suspect. With the non plus you need to use a 471(no SSL) in order to be legal.
