great. 6s is cool with the good esc. I used a very basic esc, that's why I didn't get the best of a 6s setup for controlled 1/8 buggy driving

I like the XR8 a lot. I ran an RX8 first, then a Viper VTX8, and now an XR8. To me, it's the perfect combination between the two. The VTX8 was soo smooth, but really lacked the power of the RX8. The XR8 is very smooth as well, but packs lots of punch. It does run a slight tick warm, not anywhere near the Viper though.

I'll throw this out there as another option, the Castle MM-X works excellent and is waterproof. I have been quite impressed by it.

I've no issues with my XR8 and it definitely feels smoother than my friends RX8 both paired with the SMC 1900. I do wish it had a built in switch but it's not a deal breaker...

Thank you
I have been running one. It's fairly large but fits fine. There is a little gap between center brace and side guard and plenty of room for the sensor wire. It is a very good ESC, smoother than Tekin. I'm just not a fan of all the wires hanging off of it.

I'm currently testing the REDS TXX ESC and have been very impressed by it. Once we verify the kinks are worked out this will be what you want. It's a clean setup and feels great on the track.

Almost finished with mine. Just need to build the shocks and install electronics. It's a nice piece of kit for sure. Every step has it's own bag which I love. Only issue I had was a incorrectly machined and bent screw. Shot an email to Tekno and they are sending me replacements. Everything went smoothly until I got to the turnbuckles. Man those turnbuckles are a #$%^&^ pain to do by hand. If you have a drill use it. Your hands will thank you.
