Because they (the team / engineers at AE) figured out that a dirt car with a laydown does not compete on carpet compared to what else is out there. Watch some of the videos from AE and from EOS on redrc.

What exactly are you asking? Are you asking why where are 2 cars?

Because on lower bite tracks you want the weight more to the rear of the car? The lay down trans moves the motor forward.

I spoke Brent and Cody at the EOS and the idea behind the car is good. Only downside it's a whole new platform with only a couple parts that are compatible with the B5(M). Car looked good in the finals. Brent told me they are aiming for a release in June, so it should be good. Curious about the final production car, I won't run it, but will check it out for sure.

Turf and carpet tracks almost require the carbon towers. Since the local track went carpet here, shock towers on everyone's cars were snapping. There's no give once you flip and catch a tower on the carpet.

It won't be long before we see carpet and turf designed cars shrinking towers down to TC onroad heights or cantilever setups.

I have seen cf towers break also. I personally would have preferred composite for racing on clay. Unsure how much carpet will take over here in the US. We have a new track coming soon and the last i heard is it will be dirt. I kind of wish it was a carpet track like the 702. I think bringing in the onroad guys will only increase business. That being said, I have no idea long term if the offroad guys will destroy the carpet for the onroad guys.

For like $9.99 (Trinity fan mount) plus a fan and you have a fan mount! Not a deal breaker for most as people just gear so the motor doesn't get too hot. But for the few that don't, there ya go.

AE managed to address some of the weak points of the b5 i.e. the front spindle inserts. Im going to get the parts to run the laydown tranny just to see how it works on dirt. I race on medium grip indoor so it may not work but I like tinkering.
No titanium nitride shafts or v2 shafts or xrings

Yes, it comes with this. The previous post was in reference to that being a deal breaker if it wasn't included...hence the tears, lol

Upon closer look at Cav's setup, they appear almost of a ti-material but maybe it's just me; I understood that the tuning weight plates were made of steel?

I think they're steel, just polished. If they were Ti, they would note it in the specs. If they are Ti, then score!
