hi guys.
im having a problem with my LC. it just doesnt have enough punch off the line.some of the other guys stock LC practically wheelstand down the straights.
ive tried 3 different batteries all gens ace (we are only allowed to run hardshell lipos) i was running 25C gens ace and a few guys are running 30C so i bought a 30C but the new 30C ones come with 16ga wire (WTF) instead of 14ga wire on the 25c ones,so there was no improvement... i'm wondering if its motor or speed control related..maybe ive got bad speed control? change to a hobbyking 60A? whats a good upgrade motor? im sick of getting out drag'd on the straights... any help appreciated

@Lunchie, Have you changed the "punch control" on the ESC? It's an annoy system to change, but it can be done with patience and practice.

If it's the original esc you can use the hobbywing program card! it worked on my tacon soar and the new lc racing truggy i have now.

reprogram your radio to the speed control and give that a try. Also make sure your end points and exponential (if using a different radio) are set to defaults when yo udo this.

It might be your slipper setting.

I recently put this motor in mine. Only a couple packs through it but so far it's been great.

I got that one to be better with a 3s battery. Here's a shot of it running 2s.

Check out www.LC-Racing.net for any LC parts that you may need. I have a better selection than Nitro RCX for upgrade parts and replacement gear.

you price match/beat nitrorcx including the shipping amount they charge ( think its free after a certain amount, like $29 or something like that).

If so, I could be interested.

Looking at this truggy or the losi for some racing on a 1/10 scale track and bashing around the yard. Seems the losi has a very weak transmission. What are the weak links on this truggy? Also, is the aftermarket support like the losi has? I want something relatively bulletproof like my B5m, is this the way to go?

Free shipping on all orders over $50. Prices are all within a dollar from Nitro RCX. I have a better selection of spare parts that are not available at Nitro including more hop ups.
