I've been running a Savox 1256tg in my older 8ight buggy without any issues. That car has a Trackstar 150A esc and it works great. I liked it enough that I put a Savox 1270tg (487 oz-in tq at 7.4v) in my new buggy. This one's on a Tekin RX8gen2 esc with Airtronics 471rx and I noticed it is twitchy/noisy most of the time. Guess I need capacitors for the rx but it's the first time I've had any issues on a 2.4 ghz system.

I am running a 1256TG in my Typhon. It was promoted as a monster truck servo and while not fast at .15 second the 277 in oz is more than enough for the track. As far as the speed, it is fine for me, but I'm just a nobody driver. I'm sure a top regional level type guy can tell the difference.

I have a 1268 MG in the pit box when it goes or if I have a need.

I skipped the $30 dollar servos because you are guaranteed to get a $30 servo. Resolution and centering are important things also, and you are giving that away with a cheapo servo(And likely getting poorer quality bearings also).
Fine for bashing though.
