I have known Rick for about 10 yrs now off and on.I will say the guy is one of the smoothest drivers I have ever seen.In offroad he looks SO slow on the track to only be turning some of the fastest if not the fastest laps out there.
Great guy and has done the Hobby Nothing but good things.
Goodluck Rick.You deserve the best.

Wow, talk about some serious experience. What really standout to me at last year's Nats was Rick qualified 6th in the A and ended up taking 3rd overall. Eveyone was expecting a Toso, or Brian, or Josh to be in there, but Rick had a real good weekend. It was impressive.

So....that's another long-time Losi guy to Tamiya
Interesting!
Best of luck Rick! I've always thought he was a class act.

Isn't Rick's last name spelled Hohwart...unless Tamiya recruited another Rick with a similar name...

I think the only threat is Marc and so far the HB team is 2 and 0 on Tamiya in 05. The only US TRF team members that could possible make a dent in competitive races, is Rick and David….tiny dent…maybe.
Frank, are you hinting something….is that new losi really that bad???
