It's time for Tamiya to give us an M06 Ver II Pro double secret R Spec lol.
Actually I would be more interested in the M06 V2ProR idea.

I'm familiar with DCJ in touring cars with a spool but will DCJs make any real difference in a fwd with gear or ball diff? Curious if there is any noticeable performance benefit. Lastly, what is the reason they included the M05ra hubs?

On my M03, M05's including V2, the CVD's rattle pretty badly during hard cornering, so the double joint will definitely make it smoother, I think.

I would agree w/ that.

The thing is I've already done stuff like inserting small rubber o-rings in the diff outdrives, turned down my end point adustment and made other small tweaks to get a smoother ride and my car to steer straight.

This kit is GREAT if your buying a new kit.
I started w/ the M05 kit, upgraded to M05VII and have all the aftermarket TCS legal parts on it I want. I love this new kit, I think its great, but nothing on it will improve my car or is anything I personally need.

Don't get me wrong, I love that Tamiya is still giving plenty of love to the M Chassis line, I hope that never changes. I'll probably wait to see what comes next before my next Tamiya M Kit purchase. Perhaps an improved rear wheel drive M06 of some sort or a new M07??

Universal binding can be a good thing during cornering.

The M06 is definitely in need of some m chassis love. We're going on 3 years with no update. (I don't count the pumpkin low ride as an update) lol

Yes, highly recommended for opponents you don't like.

yeah, the low rider pumpkin was a surprise. Would never had guessed that. I am sure there are a few people out there that had been waiting for 30 years for an upgrade to the Midnight Pumpkin, ..iam sure they were very happy.

2015 Tamiya Asia Cup I used the old M03 universals over the cvd for a reason. The USA champ a few years ago also used the old school M03 universals. There is a good reason, leave it to you to test and find out why

For the same reason the CVD bind is good on a FF TC. The inner wheel binds up a bit and the outside wheel powers around it. Makes the car pivot around tight corners. Never tried it in mini but with a FF TC on a tight track CVDs are .5sec faster then DCJs.

Sounds good. I have the M03 universals in my M03 (by sheer luck in my case!). Good to hear I won't have to change anything on my V2. SORRY TAMIYA!

Probably at the same time Tamiya releases a TA07 and a TRF 420.

I'll take the M03 with a rectangular battery holder and a rear mounted servo. Sort of an M05 with dumbed down steering. But it has to be in the glittery disco pants colours of that M06.

Yes, double deck CF for start!
We've been down this road before.

A lot of guys are running with diffs that are hardly diffs these days. I'd imagine there's a difference.

If the M06 was a joke, the hard body Pumpkin Lowrider was the punchline.

Thought I heard rumblings about it a few years ago. Heard stories. I think that turned into the MF01 thingy. The V2 update is big enough to carry the line for another 3 or 4 years.
