Default TRF Shock question

Are you able to use CVA oil shock pistons on TRF damper.... I recently picked up a used Tamiya chassis which has TRF dampers. But the shocks are setup with two hole pistons. I want to use three but currently do not have the TRF three hole pistons to go along with the dampers.

If the diameter is the same, then yes. I have the m-chassis version 54000 and use the cheapo CVA super mini damper pistons inside. They work great.
