Not sure I'd consider a 308 Duo to be an old model. I'm guessing you are thinking of the 406 Duo? Depends on your needs and what packs you have or plan on having. 406 has more power/amperage, but less cell capability.

308 user here. I also only charge 1 or 2 cell batteries and the 308 is more than enough. The dual output and high charge rate allows me to charge all my cells pretty quickly when your in a time crunch.
I mainly bought the icharger for its features and precision. You want a charger than can measure internal resistance

I am going to purchase an I charger for the fact that they can measure internal resistance for my batteries. I mostly run 2s batteries..What model do I need.....not looking for overkill....also I may want to charge two or three 2s batteries at the same time north of 8-10 amps...what power supply is needed and adapters?
