I would go with 50c and up. Smc, promatch, protek, reedy, and vant have all worked well for me. Great price on these:

There are many good batteries and companies (as well as many bad ones). One of the best bang for the buck companies to deal with is generally SMC. Either the 5200 or 6500 packs here are fairly common in eBuggy vehicles. I generally run the 6500 as I will never ever worry about power or the pack being stressed or being able to make time even if the main is long and there is a long warm up period and long after lap in a qual. The 5200 should balance the vehicle more side to side, though I haven't found problems from that with the 6500.

i know this has probably been asked before, but im not having any luck finding anything. is there a list of things to buy to update the EB48.2 to the EB48.3 or does someone sell everything as a kit? my .2 is ready for retirement after a full season of outdoor, and i can either drop $500 on the .3 or spend a few hundred and restore my .2 but if im going to be buying parts for my .2 id rather just upgrade it to the .3 if thats possible but i dont know all the little tiny details that are different and what goes with what because they changed so much

Thumbs up

hi eb48.3 guys,
someone a good shock setup for loamy, bumpy, outblown tracks?

i think, that the orange spring in the rear is to hard, with stock setup(450oil, 1,8x4piston)

Take a look at Joe's setup from Wicked. A lot of guys are running the same setup on both the NB and EB (benefit for those that drive both) with similar driving styles. You might have to soften up the rear a bit if it's blown out. I'm currently using yellow and 450.

I was referring to Joe's setup if you wanted to give that a try. I found the back end a little stiff and went slightly lighter on oils and springs.

To get the basics of the .3 on your .2, go here. http://www.fiercercsolutions.com/Tek...kit-FRC010.htm

That kit will give you the new suspension geometry, but you won't have full .3 adjustability. That being said, just the upgrade is a NICE addition.

To get the suspension adjustability, go here. http://www.fiercercsolutions.com/SCT...kit-FRC008.htm and that will complete you, so you can use all the .3 upgrade sheets.

Only other thing that isn't necessary, but is nice, is the split center diff. http://www.fiercercsolutions.com/TKR...un-TKR5261.htm That's for the aluminum one. They have a composite that will save you a few bucks. But if your gonna spend the money, just do the aluminum.

Just take care not to over tighten screws, and it should be a piece of cake. Let us know if you have any more questions

Just grabbed .3 kits (eb,et,sct) are there any part issues still drive shafts etc to worry about or is all that fixed? I'm not going to be able to race these kits until Rama in Feb so I'd like to get ahead of issues so I can have Fun racing at the event. TY Several guys were having issues w/ shafts at the end of the summer locally, only reason I'm asking.
