Without a clear definition of price from ROAR, there is much ambiguity. Some may see this as an optional service that is provided on the behalf of Trinity to which they refer to as Certified. If you were to buy a standard motor, upgrade the rotor and add ceramic bearings you will exceed the $149 maximum price. This doesn't make your motor illegal. The base motor is about $99 the optional servicing to make it certified is added onto the price.

Today after two weeks i have open the 24k 13.5 short stack for clean , and with surprise i have see 7 spacer under the rotor , the rotor was centered to the stator. I have removed 3 spacers for move the rotor to close to the sensors board. I run blinky class touring car. Why this motor is factory set with rotor centered to stator?

I have certified in my 2wd and ST and they are great. I've tried Fantom, Schuur Speed and Maclan and I keep going back to the 24K.

Picked up a certified D4 1s short stack 17.5. With a 72 spur, what is the sweet spot for gearing on these short stack motors. I was under the impression to gear down 2 teeth. Ran 72/29 and motor was decent, but came off lukewarm after 10 minutes. Usually run 72/31 at that track with regular stacked motors

Anyone get a 24KO to run good in a short course. I had a 24K in my 22SCT 2.0 last season, but put it in my buggy. I replaced it with a 24KO and it just seems poochy compared to the 24K. Any advice on timing or gearing would be great.
Thanks

You should look into the Trinity Monster, it's the updated version of the 24k from what I understand, and supposed to have a better/more consistent sensor board.

So is everyone going 1S shorty, or are they still able to use a 2S?

I've got a 24k 17.5, using my multimeter to try and get to that 6 amp sweet spot, even at the end bell marked 60deg of timing I'm only pulling 3.8 amps? Can I go farther past that point? Just wanting to be sure I am getting the most out of the motor.
