One of the Losi SCT body mounts is also a direct fit, so you just need 2 bags of the Losi body mounts to convert it over. They bolt directly to the towers so it saves weight and lowers center of gravity also.

Which one, the XXX-SCT or TEN-SCTE?

** EDIT Never mind... I just checked the XXX-SCT and they're not even close:

Hard to beat this deal here, I just ordered a couple sets for $18 shipped:

Thank you. I will check into that before heading to the Southern Nats in West Monroe, LA on the 18th. Mine was a rig job using what I had on hand that looked like it would fit.

The whole reason I am going overkill, is that I spend to much freaking time on my lid!

I use the same PL body mounts but just bolted directly to the shock towers. Also went to T-Bone racing for front and rear bumpers and they protect the chassis.

Just checked out the T-bone bumpers. May have to check it out for the front bumper. Wasn't aware they made them for the Intech. I know lots of guys that have used them on other rigs. Looks like they offer front and 2 rear styles to choose from. Here are some pics of one of the fronts.

This is my truck. I sent it to him so he could use it as a template. I use the front and just the narrow part of the rear and they hold up great and protect the chassis from wearing in the rear.

Well cool, and thank you!!!! I ordered the narrow rear and bar style front bumper this week. Just notified today that it was shipped. So hopefully I will receive it before I leave for the Southern Nationals on Thursday!!!! I will certainly need them with the big air tracks that are always designed for the race and my lack of skill on big air. Here's a few example pics for your viewing pleasure!!!

Gixxer28, Thanks for directing me to the TBone bumpers. Just came in and got em mounted tonight. Ready for this weekend's race now!

Here is my Heat #2 run. Came in 4th in the Heat, but my transponder failed preventing me from getting credit for the 4th place. As you can see the track was very challenging and my driving was pretty awful. Even with that the new bumpers and body posts held up great. I had zero mechanical issues all weekend. Wish I could say the same for my electronics. Had the esc switch come loose and shut me down in Heat 3, and eventually cost me a chance to bump into the A.

The truck was super loose in Heat 1, but qualified 12th overall. Then I changed the shocks around to improve the loose rear and made the jump attitude very nose high. For Heat 3 the shocks were put back and I added some front camber and stiffened the front sway. That improved the jump attitude and cured the loose rear issues. Wish I had kept it running!

I am not in the A, but here is a video of A Main 1. I would have been on pace for a 10th or so at best in this group of very good drivers.
