How do people mod the Mi8 pivot balls into MTS suspension arms? Direct fit?

Default Mi8 Conversion.

Hi,
We use all the Mi8 gear from the top of the knuckle back to the turnbuckle. From there STD RACEOPT and TEAMPOWERS parts to complete.

Just make sure that your inboard pickup points are parallel.

Get the longest pillow ball for the knuckle end to go into the Schui cup and the longest pillow ball to qo into the bulkhead. This will allow a better setup.

If you need a list of parts, just ask.

I mean the lower graphite arms. I don’t really like the metal lock pivot. Thinking plastic cups on metal balls would be smoother.

Defiantly the Mi8 suspension ball sets are perfect as the diameter is 7mm as is the hole size in the MTS arms. To secure we all have out own methods. I use a small amount or CA, others use a deeper retaining ring as the MTS are is only 2.0mm and the Schui arms are 3.0mm

Getting ready for TITC 2024 modified class. Lowered the rear shock assembly by 5mm and moved 30grams of rear overhang weight towards centerline. Less pendulum effect and tendency to over roll at the rear.

LM600 GT SHELL

CHASSIS READY FOR TAS TITLES. Ran this chassis with two small changes for SERCCC Saturday past with great feel for low grip surface,
