Yeah, but any BL motor for any class these days is going to cost a few bucks. For me, I had to buy a new motor anyway having been out of the game for a few years, so I don't mind how much it costs.
As for my odd outdrive issue, turns out the black o-ring that WAS in there got chewed up and only part of it was still buried in the outdrive. Not sure how that happened, but I put a new o-ring back in there and naturally there is no more excessive play. I'll pay more attention to it from now on.

I actually have one of those, I also saw the KO RSx mini servo (Torque: 104.15 oz-in @ 6.0V (7.5kg-cm) I installed the savox 1250 but I may get the KO too.
Savox 1250 micro servo is below... if you guys are okay with the 63.9oz, I'd do this one instead:
Speed(@6.0V sec/60): .11
Torque(@6.0V oz-in): 63.9
But I wonder if this servo also has the bottoming out of servo horn issue..?
One needs to be careful with anything called a "micro" servo. Many have output shafts that don't match any available servo savers. Maybe someone can let us know if, indeed, this is true for the Savox 1250.

If it is the Tamiya Black o-rings.... They are very hard and dont hold/retain much oil if any.. over time they dry up, crack, get brittle.. Then you can guess the rest..

I think I'm going to stick with standard sized and the low profile servo's.
I learned the hard way, when I was trying to shave some weight in my 1/12 scale. I ended up with a couple of micro servos that work great, but have these skinny little output shafts that only fit the horns that came with the servo.
There was a post just a little while ago in the 1/12 scale thread that showed the Savox 1250 with a servo saver on it, so it seems your recommendation was good!

I personally don't run micro servo's on my cars as weight is not that critical. I do feel that my M03 would benefit though if I run even less weight than the low profile Savox I installed on there a few weeks ago.
Thing is so top heavy.
If I'm not running the Tamiya High Torque Servo Saver, my go to servo is the S6070 and run Kimbroughs.

The SC1251MG uses the same Futaba 25spline, so I may end up using more Savox down the road for Tamiya cars that run Tamiya High Torque Servo Savers. I'm currently running one in my M03 and I like it.
For some reason Spektrum's 23 spline is SUPER TIGHT to put on when I use Tamiya servo savers.
This is why I only use Kimbroughs with Spektrum servo's.BTW, has anyone tried this servo? Power HD 1207TG (half the price of the Savox)

These Servos are still too heavy at 48gram.... Blue bird Servos weigh 32grams, and are analog.... It saves the cost of a new radio, Rx, etc.... That's almost $600 savings right there.... I think mini racing has become too expensive.... There are $1300 minis racing tcs... That's absurd.....
