Running a LRP DYNAMIC 10 4800kv and an LRP Flow WT, Turnigy 4600 shorty 90c, Car is as fast as the other ones. Motor gets a little bit warmer then the big cans, but still ok in a 6Min race. (Without fan at about 30° Celsius, astro track, straight about 65m, 14 teeth pinion). The wight is in the back as much as possible, spring is pink.
Car went great this weekend,
BUT:
just some little, hard "Bumps" about 10cm high and 40cm wide, and the "nose down" was dramatic. Changed oil in the back to 300cst: a little bit better. Moved the upper mount of the suspension inward: not better, reduced the travel: the problem was amplified.
Changed everything without the oil back and get 3. overall (just 5 competitors).
Planed my next changes:
Building some pistons 4x1,8, oil: more cst, building a "bump" for testing in the backyard.

For those of you that have been waiting for SMC race packs to come in, I have found an alternative.
I ran the VANT 7600 hard wired (bought from Promatch) and they ran the same/better as the race packs from SMC. My powerlab 6 shows IR in the 1.2-1.4 for both packs after 4-5 cycles. Brand new they where 1.8 and after few cycles/runs they got even better. Battery's where luke warm after a 7 min main with outside temp at 95. Deans plug was a tad warmer, but nothing like the unsoldering bullets I had on the old SMC packs. (Not an issues with SMC packs, just issue with using bullets that are worn out)
Very impressed right now with these VANT batteries. Hope this helps others that have been waiting for a year it seems for SMC race packs.

I also ran SMC packs quite a bit and out of frustration with their lack of availability and last pack puffed badly and too quickly imo, I tried out the Vant batteries. My first pack was a 2S 6500 75C/150C pack. A few things I just loved... first was that I could order the pack with an EC5 already soldered on and ready to go, second, the warranty they have says if the pack ever goes bad, you get half the value towards a replacement pack, think about that for a minute, that's pretty awesome. My second pack was the 2S 6500 100C/200C and I loved it just as much as the first, excellent performance and run times. Thirds pack I bought was for an EB48.3 and I got the 6500 4S 75C/150C, really great in the buggy, excellent overall experience. I will be buying only Vant batteries from now on unless something changes dramatically.

Anyone running outdoors, especially on a large dry dusty outdoor track, check out the "Randy C" set up sheet on Tekno's website. I ran all my pills, my links & my shock Mounts the same as his set up. But I ran different shock oil & different springs (Black/Green). It's a really hooked up set up.
This past weekend I ran the Ryan Lutz ROAR ENats set up, and I liked the Randy C set up alot better. The Lutz set up was more geared for a smooth technical track like LCRC. It turned GREAT but my ass end was loose. I didn't like the shorter wheelbase either.

The 6x1.5 pistons make a big difference. If you want your truck to turn much better, get Black front springs. The greens are way too stiff. I ran Pink/Pink for awhile, they're not bad. The Black Fronts were one of the best changes I made along with the pistons.
